Welcome to The Prestige Times (theprestigetimes.com), operated by The Prestige Times (“we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User” or “You”) and The Prestige Times regarding your access to and use of our Platform, including all content, features, and services.
The Prestige Times is a platform that publishes AI-generated and user-contributed content across finance, technology, health, business, and self-improvement. We act as an intermediary under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act) and comply with the due diligence requirements under Section 79 of the IT Act read with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
Acceptance: By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

You are responsible for safeguarding your password. We use bcrypt hashing to protect stored passwords. Notify us immediately at editor@theprestigetimes.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
We may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if you violate these Terms or applicable laws — including the IT Act, 2000, the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023), or the DPDP Act, 2023. You may delete your account at any time via profile settings.
You retain ownership of content you submit (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant The Prestige Times a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable license to display, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and perform such content on the Platform and its promotional channels.
In compliance with Rule 3(1)(b) of the Intermediary Rules, 2021 and Section 69A of the IT Act, 2000, you agree not to upload, share, or transmit content that:
Per Rule 4 of the Intermediary Rules, 2021, we remove or disable access to prohibited content within 24 hours of receiving actual knowledge through a court order or government notification. We also operate proactive content moderation using automated and manual review processes. We reserve the right to remove content at our sole discretion.

All content on the Platform — articles, graphics, logos, trademarks, software, page layouts, and design elements — is the property of The Prestige Times or its licensors and is protected by Indian copyright (Copyright Act, 1957), trademark (Trade Marks Act, 1999), and intellectual property laws.
AI-generated articles are clearly identified as such, reviewed by human editors, and protected under applicable copyright law. Republishing or redistributing AI-generated content requires proper attribution to The Prestige Times and a link back to the original article.
By submitting User Content, you grant The Prestige Times a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content in any media or channel.
If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on our Platform in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please contact our Grievance Officer at grievance@theprestigetimes.com with the following information:
All content on the Platform — including AI-generated articles, community stories, and curated news — is provided for informational and educational purposes only. We make no warranties or representations about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the content.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or advertisements that are not owned or controlled by The Prestige Times. We are not responsible for:
We encourage you to review the terms and policies of any third-party services you interact with through our Platform.
The Platform displays advertisements via third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense. We do not endorse advertised products or services. Advertisements are served based on your browsing history and preferences as governed by our Cookie Policy.
We reserve the right to introduce subscription tiers, premium content, donation models, or other revenue mechanisms with reasonable notice to users. Existing free access features will continue to be available unless otherwise communicated.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law — including the IT Act, 2000 and the DPDP Act, 2023:
The Prestige Times (including its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption — arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform.
Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed INR 1,000 or the amount paid by you (if any) in the preceding 12 months, whichever is lower.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Prestige Times, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

We process personal data in full compliance with the DPDP Act, 2023 — implementing reasonable security safeguards, obtaining consent, respecting data subject rights, and ensuring lawful processing.
We respect intellectual property rights. Copyright infringement notices should be sent to our Grievance Officer with the information specified in Section 5.4 above.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, if:
Upon termination: your right to use the Platform ceases immediately; we may delete your account and User Content subject to legal retention requirements. Sections 5 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Liability), 10 (Indemnification), 12 (Compliance), and 14 (Disputes) survive termination.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the IT Act, 2000, the DPDP Act, 2023, the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
Subject to the arbitration clause below, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi, India.
Arbitration Clause
Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiations within 30 days. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to final and binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted in New Delhi by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement. The language of arbitration shall be English.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting on the Platform.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Prestige Times regarding your use of the Platform.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
No failure or delay by The Prestige Times in exercising any right or provision under these Terms shall operate as a waiver thereof.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations freely.
